Kristi Ballif, flute instructor
Kristi Ballif currently teaches flute at Mesa State College and plays in the Grand Junction Symphony Orchestra, the Western Colorado Flute Choir, and the Mesa State College Faculty Woodwind Quintet. Kristi earned her Master of Music degree in Flute Performance from Arizona State University and her Bachelor of Music in Flute Performance from Brigham Young University. Her instructors have included Elizabeth Ruppe, Trygve Peterson, and Elizabeth Buck. Kristi is the author of Music Theory for the Flutist, a theory workbook designed especially for flute students.
