Friday, March 23
6-7:30 PM: Middle School and High School Select Choir Rehearsals
High School Flute Choir conducted by Becky Weidman-Winter
Middle School Flute Choir conducted by Gail Atkinson

Saturday, March 24
8:30-9 AM: Registration

8:30 AM: Sherry Lee Exhibit Booth opens. Browse music, flute gadgets, and FLUTES!!!
Perfect for those interested in trying several flutes before purchasing one.

8:30-10 AM: Student Competitions (Middle School, High School, and College/Adult Amateur)
Anyone interested in competing must pre-register and submit a competition application.

9-9:30 AM: Yoga Breathing, Stretches, and Warm Ups

9:30-10:30 AM: Flute Choir Rehearsals
All Flute Day participants not in the Student Select Choirs will rehearse with Kristi Ballif
10:30-11:15 AM: Practice Tips and Tricks with Becky Weidman-Winter

11:30-12:30 PM: Member Recital
Featuring Ruth Maurer on her Bass, Contra and SubContra flutes and Becky Weidman-Winter

12:30-1:15 PM: Lunch (Available for $7 with Pre-Registration, or bring a sack lunch)

1:15-1:45 PM: Irish Ornamentation with Kristi Ballif
Learn the basics of Irish Ornamentation, as well as an Irish tune on your Boehm flutes

1:45-2:30 PM: Irish Session with guest musicians
Just like a traditional Irish Session, but using your Boehm flutes (or bring a whistle if you have one!)

2:45-3:45 PM: Final Flute Choir Preparation

4-6 PM: Final Recital

and Winners of the Student Competitions
